Privacy policy
Last updated 28 August 2026.
The short version
Most tools on this site run entirely inside your browser. When a tool says it processes data locally, the text, numbers or files you give it are never sent to us — there is no upload, so there is nothing for us to store, log or lose.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell data.
What the tools do with your input
Every tool page states where its processing happens. Tools marked as running in your browser — including the password generator, QR code generator, JSON formatter, word counter, image compressor, image resizer and all the calculators — read your input in the page and never transmit it.
For the image tools specifically: your file is read by the browser, drawn to a canvas and re-encoded on your own device. It is not uploaded to any server, and we never receive a copy. Note that re-encoding removes EXIF metadata such as camera details and location, which is generally good for privacy but does also strip copyright and colour-profile information.
Passwords generated on this site are produced by your browser using your operating system’s cryptographic randomness. They are not transmitted, logged or recoverable by us.
Storage on your device
We store one item in your browser’s local storage: your cookie and measurement preferences, so we do not ask again on every visit. It contains your choices and the date you made them, nothing else. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Analytics
If you consent to analytics, we measure which tools are used and how pages perform, so we can decide what to improve and what to retire. Analytics does not run at all unless you have granted it. You can withdraw consent at any time using .
Advertising
This site is built to support advertising, served by Google AdSense, as a way of paying for itself. The AdSense account library is loaded site-wide, which Google requires for site verification. No ad units are manually placed on any page — there is nothing on this site today that looks like a conventional advertisement.
Whether Google automatically places ads on this site (“Auto ads”) is controlled entirely from the AdSense account settings, not by anything in the page code. If that setting is turned on, this section will be updated to describe what appears and where.
Where this site does place its own ad units in future, ad requests for those units will not be made unless you have granted advertising consent. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, that consent will be collected through a Consent Management Platform certified by Google and integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, as Google requires.
Advertising technologies typically use cookies or similar identifiers, and may use approximate location derived from your IP address, to select and measure ads. Where you decline personalisation, only non-personalised advertising will be requested.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, which as our hosting provider processes standard request information — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. This is ordinary web-server operation and applies whatever your consent choices are, because a request cannot be served without it.
Your choices
You can change or withdraw consent at any time using , which is in the footer of every page. You do not need to clear your browser data to revisit the decision.
Because we do not operate accounts and most tools transmit nothing, there is generally no personal data held by us to access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us and we will look into it.
Changes
When this policy changes materially — in particular when analytics or advertising are enabled — we will update the date at the top and revise the relevant section to describe what is actually running.
